What this app is
THE ONE is a study app for the Bible and for a collection of historical works. The historical works are reproduced from sources in the public domain. Editorial notes, topic essays and commentary are the work of the app's authors.
Your account
You may use much of the app without an account. Creating one lets your notes, highlights and reading position follow you between devices. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your data.
Purchases
Any purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store, and is subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings, not here. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to disrupt the service, extract the collection wholesale, or use the app to break the law. Original scholarly material in the app is offered for personal study; republishing it elsewhere requires permission.
Optional Community participation
Nearby Unitarians is an optional space for adults aged 18 and over. A confirmed email establishes control of an address, not someone's identity or beliefs. Join only with your own consent, share accurate information, and respect other members' boundaries. Harassment, impersonation, threats, spam, and targeting members with unwanted proselytising are prohibited. You can report content, block a member, or leave Community. Moderators may restrict or suspend Community access under the conduct rules. Community content does not become part of the scholarly corpus.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is. Scriptural texts, translations, original-language tagging and historical sources are reproduced in good faith and may contain errors. Nothing here is legal, medical or financial advice.
